Someone once affectionately said that Grace is a Twitter. For those of you that don't know Twitter is like text messaging lots of people at once with things about your day, where you are, what you're doing. That kind of thing. I kind of do it... did it. Like once every few weeks. Anyway, the more time I spend with sweet Grace the more I agree. She is a Twitter. 98% of these were from our drive to Target tonight.
- Mom, I really think I need a hamster. I don't know why but I just really think I do.
- I want to go to the moon. Do you have to be an astwanot to go to the moon. I (Jill) said..."Uh....." Grace says.... we'll just call that a maybe.
- If you don't eat for 5 days will you get dead?
- I hate zucchini....or cucumbers...whatever you call it. I keep tasting it in my mouth.
- A 3 minute song......"I love you...I do....I love you.... I do....I love you mommy....you love me and I love yooooooooooou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Voice lesson warm ups..."la la la la la la la"
- I want to be a baby again...and crawl and suck my thumb.
- I want to be a baby because they have cuter shoes.
- If we don't have money...why can't we go to the bank and just get some.
- Mom...if I have a friend who doesn't have money for food.... I would give them all of my money. But then I wouldn't have any money.....(stops to think)..... oh but it would be okay because my friend could give me money.
Last week I said to Grace. "Grace sometimes it's okay to just talk in your head. You don't have to say everything out loud, you can just think some things."
Quiet for 7 seconds.
From the back of the car..."Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (she says through clenched teeth) I really really want to ask you something."
"Go ahead, Grace"
"How many days till my birthday."

that really is very funny! and so true for my girls too. i should write down their random thoughts too. quite entertaining! =)
She's hilarious! Both my kids are yappers (I think they get that from Kirk). Hayden once had a teacher that told him her "ears are tired and need to rest". I thought that was a sweet :)
That made me laugh really hard ... still think she's afraid of me, though, cuz she never does that to me ... maybe you just need to be meaner. "Aunt" Amy
she is so cute, I could DIE!
That was so funny. I laughed so hard. Grace sounds like me. I'm how old now and I still get told all the time that I talk to much.

What a great post Jill!!! I always think I should keep track of what they say and never do or it never seems as good on "paper". You did a great job with those...Grace seems like such a cutie! =0)
Thanks for sharing the kid-isms. I love how eclectic they are!
""If we don't have money...why can't we go to the bank and just get some.""
OH my goodness...that reminds me of my 4 year old so long ago when I told her that we couldn't buy something because I didn't have enough money and she said.."well mom...just write it in a check!!!" Kids have things so simply figured out. I love her mind!!!
i feel the same about our youngest... but since she's 15 i'm not allowed to post them
Are you SURE that was Grace in the back of your car? I have conversation like that with Quinn all the time. No wonder those 2 love each other so much! Now there's a conversation to listen in on!
